IRES – Innovation in Research and Engineering Technologies is an R&D consulting company, established in 2015, that provides specialized services and on-demand customized solutions in the fields of:

IRES participates in more than 20 EU funded Horizon projects where it leads Work Packages and Tasks related to Sustainability, Environmental and Cost analysis of innovative materials and manufacturing processes. It undertakes the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) of novel prototypes in several sectors (automotive, sports, textiles, aerospace) and innovative processes (Carbon Fibre recycling processes, bio-based materials, Additive Manufacturing technologies, etc.). IRES also provides Risk and Safety assessments across the manufacturing chains along with respective recommendations and facilitates project implementation with data science services, like image processing and computer vision.
In EuReComp IRES will provide its services to support the recycling and reuse of composite materials (CFs/GFs) in terms of Environmental, Economic and Safety improvement and optimization. Specifically, IRES leads the Safety-Environment-Performance Benchmarking of the EuReComp demonstrators as well as the Standardization activities and respective policy recommendations.
